Courtney Kneifl [kuh nye full] is a floral designer, artist, and the creative director of Iris & Fig. She founded this business after moving to Washington and falling in love with the incredible bounty of flowers and plant materials the PNW has to offer.
Courtney has a BA in English and worked in higher ed for many years before deciding she wanted to get out from behind the desk and create with her hands. Floral design has since become her preferred art form, a way to draw attention to the beautiful but sometimes overlooked botanical ingredients found all around us in the natural world.
As a long time gardener, Courtney is known for creating natural installations with flowers and plant materials that look like they might have organically grown in the environment surrounding your venue. With an emphasis on form and movement, her desire is to create unique, inspired, visually rich experiences for you and your guests to enjoy.
